Excerpt
Excerpt Stock management
HP OpenView AssetCenter Portfolio Management
provides comprehensive stock management, including
storage information, threshold, replenishment rules and
mapping to relevant locations.
Asset modeling and catalogs
All assets are modeled using a tree structure, so that
you can easily categorize them and align them to meet
management needs. You can extend the model by
creating a catalog of goods and services for standard
configurations and certified hardware and software, as
defined by the ITIL-related Definitive Software Library
and Definitive Hardware Store.

Claim 1 doesn't specify industrial process control.
The only sticking point is that the HP document may be referring to a static database, rather than a dynamic system. Note - this had me confused initially - block object as described in the patent refers to a block of code, not a visible block shaped object on the screen!

OK the document is all marketing hype, can't find the word summary anywhere, but we have (snapshot) which equals (summary) and figure 2 shows how the output is displayed.
HP OpenView AssetCenter Portfolio automates the
collection of asset data and keeps it up to date. As an
asset’s status changes, such as its location, owner or
disposition, you can track and manage those changes
throughout the entire lifecycle of the asset. This powerful
AssetCenter module provides you with an accurate,
up-to-date snapshot of your infrastructure so that you know
exactly what assets you have, where they are located
and who is using them.

This is the same as as claim 14? , just a different sort/selection order??
The following indicates you can have all sorts of groupings (called consolidating in the text):
HP OpenView AssetCenter Portfolio simplifies asset
tracking by consolidating assets and each configuration
item (CI) into a central repository. The module allows
users of HP OpenView AssetCenter to view and utilize
asset information, including relationships with other assets.
As servers and applications are consolidated, business
units can share utilization and allocate costs correctly
by using Portfolio’s powerful configuration options.
