Regarding Claim 00001
This and all claims describe variants on the IBM/Microsoft System Message Block (SMB)
protocol, as delivered on all versions of Windows from 3.1 to today. It is used in the
Windows world for serving files and printers, and the Samba application implements it,
specifically including an end-user application program called "smbclient".
I'll announce this on the Samba-Technical list.
