01/23/2006 Filed as Docket JP920040223US1
Prior Art 1 shows how audio, presentation, caption (editing) can be integrated. Therefore, the method to integrate multimedia contents and split presentation contents with audio by slide page is known.

Prior Art 2)
Title: DYNAMIC CONTEXTUAL ADVERTISEMENT AND NEWS INSERTION FROM PRESENTATION, PRESENTATION PAGE, AUDIO CAPTION, AND CM CAPTION
JP820060040 Status:Published
06/19/2006 Published
Inventors: Miyamoto, K. Arakawa, K. OHGANE, T. O.

Prior Art 2 shows how content relevant information such as advertisement or news can be inserted into presentation content with audio. Therefore it is known that presentation slides with audio can be processed by time and context.

Prior Art 3)
The power spectrum of audio is visualized for commercial products for decades now.

Prior Art 4)
The intensity of the slides is claimed but not strictly defined. There are mere examples but all of the examples are well known facts.

The prior arts 1 through 4 clearly show that this patent merely combines prior arts, therefore is not novel to what is well known.
There is also a question for the validity of the patent. This patent claims to extend the display time of the slide for lower intensity portion of audio.
However, in many well know cases such as captioning, the more intense the audio is, the longer time is asigned for the presentation slide. It is not clear in what situation it needs to be vice versa. If this patent is only applicable to a limited situation, it is absolutely required to define such situation.
