The computing device of Claim 9, wherein the regulating of the progress indicator based on the cumulative point baseline and the completion time of each step of the multi-step program as executed by the computing device includes: initializing an incremental point variable for a first step of the multi-step program; and initializing and updating a total points for the first step based on the incremental point variable in response to each expiration of an interpolation interval during a completion time of the first step.
